Black Raspberries

Black Raspberries

Black raspberries are closely related to red raspberries, sharing a distinctively white underside of their leaves and fruit that detaches easily.  Their dark, purple-black color often has them mistaken for blackberries, but they are smaller and less shiny, and can additionally be distinguished from blackberries by their hollow core.  Black raspberries also have a unique taste of their own, unlike their red cousins or blackberries.
